Cocoon Maldives is conveniently located close to 50 dive sites. The famous ‘Shipyard’ site has 2 shipwrecks you can explore. ‘Kuredhoo Express’ is another nearby site which is popular for shark spotting. You’ll find an abundance of tropical marine life in the surrounding area, including sea turtles, manta rays, reef sharks and fish. The hotel has its own diving centre where you can learn how to dive and embark on trips.
The hotel has an excursion programme and you can book a place on one of the trips for a fee. Fish feeding, beach BBQs, local island tours and dolphin cruises are just a few of the excursions available.

Accommodation at Cocoon Maldives consists of air-conditioned villas and suites which have been exclusively designed by Italian designer LAGO. The décor has a luxury feel, with rustic wooden tables and beds that appear to float in the air. Beach Villas feature an open plan design and are located on the beachfront. You can also choose from overwater Lagoon Villas or Lagoon Suites which come complete with a sundeck and wade-in private pool.
There are a variety of suites to choose from which offer additional space, as well as Family Beach Villas which are great for small families or groups.
